NCCW “MILLION WORKS OF MERCY”

On April 1, 2016 a new campaign was announced by the National Council of Catholic Women.

Council members are doing good deeds, serving those in need, and praying for others every day.  It is who we are.  It is our call and our mission, every day—in big and small ways.

 Here is the form to help you get started!  Send in your tally every month and watch the totals grow.  Add up your Works of Mercy as an individual or as an affiliate, whatever works best for you.

Catholic Days at the Capitol in Tallahassee

Our trip to Tallahassee included 32 delegates from the Archdiocese of Miami.  What a great and wonderful session we had this year.  The Red Mass was beautiful as always and again this year was standing room only.  This 2 day event is the best opportunity for Catholics to put into action the Church’s call to political responsibility and to strengthen the presence of Catholic values in the public square.  In total we were close to 300 strong from all 7 Diocese in the State of Florida along with all our Bishops and many Clergy.  Thank you to all those who participated.

MACCW 17th Annual Scholarship Luncheon

Come enjoy the 17th Annual MACCW Scholarship Luncheon being held on Saturday, February 27th at the Embassy Suites on 17th Street Causeway in Ft. Lauderdale.   This annual fundraiser supports the MACCW Scholarship Program which provides a scholarship to 8th Grade Girls who wish to continue their education at a Catholic High School.  It is a wonderful event and includes a silent auction and Chinese raffle.  Please see the following flyer for more information on who to contact for reservations:  scholarshipNN11-15mw  Looking forward to seeing you there!
