″I believe and therefore anything is possible” – Message from the President

″Expect great things from God”, “Attempt great things for God”

The past few months since I have assumed the role of President of MACCW has been challenging to say the least. The Covid19 pandemic has ushered in a whole new way of life for all of us. It is a challenge along with the Lord’s help I greatly accept. There is still so much to learn in this virtual world we are trying to become adjusted too. We are Catholic Woman Strong! There is no challenge that we cannot overcome!

On April 1, 2016 a new campaign was announced by the National Council of Catholic Women.

Council members are doing good deeds, serving those in need, and praying for others every day.  It is who we are.  It is our call and our mission, every day—in big and small ways.

Here is the form to help you get started!  Send in your tally every month and watch the totals grow.  Add up your Works of Mercy as an individual or as an affiliate, whatever works best for you.

Cathy Donn will be our coordinator for this project (All information to contact her is listed on the form).

Catholic Days at the Capitol in Tallahassee

Our trip to Tallahassee included 32 delegates from the Archdiocese of Miami.  What a great and wonderful session we had this year.  The Red Mass was beautiful as always and again this year was standing room only.  This 2 day event is the best opportunity for Catholics to put into action the Church’s call to political responsibility and to strengthen the presence of Catholic values in the public square.  In total we were close to 300 strong from all 7 Diocese in the State of Florida along with all our Bishops and many Clergy.  Thank you to all those who participated.
